Hey, look, something not-pitbull related!

The 3rd VA Westie Walk is going on Sunday, September 28 at Bryan Park. From the River City Westie group…
The ‘walk’ will take place on a paved road along the outer loop of the park. The walking path is partially shaded, and the terrain is suitable for strollers, wheelchairs, pet strollers and other types of mobility enhanced equipment. There is no requirement to participate in the walk in order to take part in the event. You may participate in as little, or as much, of the walk as you and your pet(s) can handle - or not walk at all.
All details are available on the RCW website, www.rivercitywesties.org

A couple months ago a guy found a sweetheart brindle pit bull (now Matilda) on the side of the road. He took her in and tried to find her owner but nobody came forth, so he began to look for a new home for her
Turns out Matilda was very, very pregnant and has since given birth to 13 puppies. Finding a home for one dog has now turned into finding a home for 14.
Theres no way to know for sure if Matilda’s litter was planned or not, but either way it’s a problem. The point is there are too many dogs and not enough homes. Matilda and her pups got lucky to find the person they did, many mama dogs don’t get saved.
Contact for adopting Matilda or her pups is MissKurly@hotmail.com

And to help find these wonderful little babies their forever homes, we are currently running a special - - TWO kittens for the price of ONE. Oh heck, cats is just big kittens so we’ll let those suckers go at the two for one rate two! Because shoot, why get one lapful of love when you can get two for the same price?!?! Therefore, for the normal adoption fee of one kitten OR cat you can adopt two and they will have lifetime play companions!
