Richmond Animal League - The Richmond Animal League, Inc. is Richmond’s oldest non-profit, no-kill humane society. RAL was founded in 1979 by a group of local good Samaritans concerned about the hundreds of stray animals in the area. They are dedicated to providing complete care and shelter to their animals until they can place them in loving permanent homes.
Doberman Assistance, Rescue and Education - DAR&E is a Maryland-based non-profit
organization dedicated to serving the burgeoning needs of Dobermans in Maryland,
Washington, D.C., Virginia and West Virginia areas.
Dalmation Rescue of Southwest Virginia - Dalmation rescue group
based in SW Virginia, but with members and foster families througout VA.
Central Virginia Greyhound Rescue - Central Virginia Greyhounds (CVGreys) is a 501c3
non-profit adoption organization dedicated to finding permanent, loving homes
for retired racing greyhounds.

Henrico Humane Society - HHS is a tax-exempt nonprofit corporation as defined in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The organization does not have a shelter and all animals are placed with volunteers who have agreed to provide foster care.
AARF - AARF stands for Animal Adoption and Rescue Foundation. They are a Richmond, Virginia, non-profit, all volunteer organization founded in May of 1993. They help hundreds of animals each year to find loving homes.
BARK - BARK rescues orphaned or abandoned pets and other adoptable dogs from animal shelters in the Richmond and surrounding areas, ensures they are spayed/neutered and given routine vaccinations, and finds loving, forever homes for them.
