As you know, the Henrico County Commonwealth’s Attorney has brought charges against Keith Copi of Critter Control for having illegally killed three feral cats trapped on the WRLH Fox Richmond property. Copi is charged with three counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty with maximum penalties on each count being 12 months in prison and a $2,500 fine

Copi’s trial is set for Thursday, August 14 at 9:30 a.m. at the Henrico County General District Court, located at 4301 East Parham Road. It is very important that the courtroom be filled with people who care about feral cats and are deeply concerned that this trial send a message that cruelty toward feral cats will not be tolerated in Virginia. We hope that you will plan to attend, as your presence could help convince the judge to convict Copi and deliver a significant sentence.
